Safe Surgeries

Changes to the way we are working

We are no longer using Engage Consult.

PATCHS is the new easy way for you to contact the Surgery online. PATCHS has been designed by GPs to make it easier to contact your practice and save you time.

Just answer a few simple questions and PATCHS gets you the help you need quickly.

You can use PATCHS to contact the Surgery for health advice, condition monitoring, repeat prescriptions, fit notes, and more...

PATCHS provides lots of benefits including being able to make requests in your own time. PATCHS also helps patients who struggle to contact their GP practice using the telephone or in-person. This includes patients who have hearing or speaking impairments, anxiety, and who speak English as a second language.

Click on the link below to use PATCHS

If you have an urgent query, then please call the surgery, alternatively you can submit this request via PATCHS (please allow up 48 hrs for a response, however there will be periods where we can respond quicker).

If you need an appointment, the surgery staff will triage query over the telephone, this is to ensure that you are directed to the correct GP, Nurse Practitioner or clinical staff member. To ensure you receive the correct care, and help with your query, you may be signposted to the appropriate services.

All patients who suspect they have coronavirus MUST NOT COME TO THE SURGERY!, call NHS 111 from home, book a test, ensure that you and your household self isolate - follow the rules for test and trace.

Please bear with the staff whilst we continually navigate through these unprecedented times and continuously changing situations. We are constantly up dating the way we work in line with guidance and direction from NHS England and the Government.

Seasonal FLU immunisations

The surgery is working extremely hard hard with the NHS England, the CCG and the GP federation to ensure that we offer the Flu vaccine to all those patients eligible in a safe and controlled environment. The surgery is not able to offer clinical slots daily for routine flu vaccinations, but we are contacting all eligible patients and offering them a specific date. Please wait for the surgery to contact you, if you are in the groups below.

Eligible patients:

Those patients aged 65 years or over

Patients in the 18-64 years with long term health conditions such as (COPD, Heart disease, Asthma etc).

Children aged 6 months to 17 years with long term health conditions

Children aged 2 -3 on the 31 Aug 2020 who are well

Children who attend schools will be offered a flu vaccine whilst in school, the surgery will not be able to vaccinate any children without long term health conditions.

If your child has a long term health condition and is offered a flu vaccine in school, it may prevent the need to attend the surgery.
